Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I just got done playing basketball for four hours. I had on ankle socks which road done and just covered my toes and bridge of my foot, so my ankle was rubbing tight against my shoe. My feet have began aching tonight but that is normal. The abnormal part is there are yellow blotches on my ankles and the area around the blotches is inflamed and red. It hurts to touch and burns. Curious about what the blotches are.
The symptoms are suggestive of minor contusion associated with skin inflammation.
As a first line management you can take analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Seratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. Generally the symptoms will settle by itself. If persists better to consult a general practitioner and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
