Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My feet have been hurting me for the past several months. My toes are turning out away from the big toe. I have been to a podiatrist and he says it is caused from the nerves in my back pressing on a nerve that runs down to my foot. He has prescribed shoe inserts which I had made to my foot, but am not seeing where it is helping much. Can you give me some insight?
I think you may be suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. You should visit a rheumatologist and do blood tests and anti-ANA antibodies and ERS. Podiatrist can't help you have arthritis. You may need to take medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
