What Causes Pain In The Forearms?

I have history of dvt in my left arm. was a few years ago after a couple days in the hospital. Having substantial pain in both forearms after a recent 2 day hospital stay after autoaccident with 3 vertebrae fractures in my neck,3,4,&5. should I use heat or ice for the pain?

since there is fracture in c345 it may be a radiating pain buy u are also having. DVT it van also be cause of pain
