What Causes Pain In The Gallbladder Despite Taking Hydrocodone And Acetaminophen?

i have rare occasions of gall bladder flare up i am having a pretty bad one right now My doctor has prescribed hydrocodone 5mg / acetaminophen 325 mg and i took one about a 1/2 hour ago but pain still bad it appears that 10 mg would be ok but I wanted to be sure

Hello,

You took the Hydrocodone / Acetaminophen half an hour ago, so the pain cannot be eased so fast. Need more time. Wait for another half an hour or take another pain killer like Mephenamic acid (but not paracetamol). After a couple of hours should take another Hydrocodone / Acetaminophen.
