I was training for ironman 25+ hours per week and in very good shape. During a tempo run on a treadmill I had to stop due to an insidious pain in my right groin. No specific injury related to this condition and condition did not improve. One physician performed a sports hernia surgery without improvement. Another physician ruled out pesos bursitis, liberal tear, and obturator nerve with injection, surgery, and EMG/NCV. The pain is consistent with symptoms related to Ilioinguinal nerve entrapment; testicular, groin, lower ab, base of penis, and palpating pain 2-3 cm medial to ASIS. I can t find a physician experienced with ilioinguinal nerve entrapment. Any recommendations? ~garrett
