What Causes Pain In The Groin And Back With Constipation In A Type II Diabetic?
I am male 70 years old diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 13 years ago. I am experiencing symptoms in my groin and lower back (pain). My stool is hard and normal in colour but I feel constipated. The pain in my back and groin is about 7-8 on the ten scale.
Dear friend, though diabetis can cause generalized body pain but this severe pain in those pspecific area can be of various reason.back pain is generally caused by muscle fatigue or nerve entrapment in back region, which is quite common in your age.and for groin pain the most common cause is urinary tract infection.so a urine analysis can clinch the diagnosis.Untill you are done with investigations in these two aspect ,dear friend you dont need to worry much.as far as constipation is concerned please drink enough of water and vegetables to make your bowel movement normal.in this way you can get rid of constipation which is again a very common feature at your age.thank you.
