What Causes Pain In The Groin Area After Hernia Surgery?
My grandfather had hernia surgery 8 days ago on his right side and today after lunch he started having pain In his groin on the left side. He had hernia surgery on the left side 2 years ago, in the same area, now a hard lump has formed that has begun to have a stinging/burning sensation which has lasted a few hours. He is uncomfortable and not sure if it s gas or more serious issue. I feel it could be another hernia. Any thoughts Thank you
it can be inguinal hernia. get cheeked by surgeon who has done the surgery. it can be just traumatic post operative signs. or it can be recurrence. should avoid lifting of weight avoid strain in groin. it can be ascertained after clinical examination.constipation should be treated with cremafin at bed time.
