What Causes Pain In The Groin Area After Unprotected Intercourse?

Hi, I had unprotected sex three days ago, and now he is saying he is experiencing pain in the groin area and that I should go get tested. Besides him, I haven t had sex with anyone for about five years. Plus, I feel perfectly fine. The only thing out of the ordinary is that I got my period during the sex. But I m 100% sure it was my period because it was the same amount as usual, lasted the usual amount of time, and was a day before I was supposed to get it anyways. What s going on?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It might be due to prolonged AND vigorous sex or delayed ejaculation.

Phimosis, UTI, STD and Peyronie’s disease are the other causes of soreness.

Please visit your health care provider for further evaluation and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
