Hi there I had a question about my groin area, today I drunk an energy drink 5 minutes after I got the discomfort like I wanted to hold onto something then it got worse the I had a pain around my ball sack and inbetween my ball sack and butt it got better but I still feel it s not right what do u think and I m 23 male I drunk a mtn dew 3 hours before the energy drink thank
You had an energy drink and thereafter you started experiencing groin pain and pain in the butt area. Groin pain may be an indication of tendon strain, testicular torsion, URI, epididymitis, prostatitis, hernia, etc. You are suggested to get it clinically examined by a urologist. Get urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done. Get all other imaging tests done so that treatment can be started at the earliest.
Men may experience fertility challenges, low sperm quality/ count if taking excessive energy drinks. Since you are developing symptoms, avoid taking energy drinks. Get treated at the earliest. You can take Combiflam or Naproxen, one stat when needed. You will be treated with a course of antibiotics, analgesics and recommended surgery only when required.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
