What Causes Pain In The Groin Area While Raising The Leg?

When I raise my right leg to put on my pants I experience pain in my right groin region. Also when I lay on my back and raise my right knee to my chest I feel a lot of discomfort, almost nauseous. Side note: I do see my chiropractor concerning lower back pain. Bummer, I didn t know this was a pay as you go site.

Hi,

According to your description, you have A groin strain. Rest the area by avoiding walking or any activity that causes pain.

Crutches may be recommended to reduce further strain on the muscles when walking.

Apply ice packs to the area for 15 to 20 minutes every 2 hours. Compress the area with an elastic bandage wrap.

Consult with another health care provider for further services, such as medication or diagnostic tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Leonard, Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist
