Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have had painfrom the pubis up the groin, until the top of the top of the hip bone,, then back to the lower spine, with pain radiating from the lower back radiating down to the upper thigh down to the calf muscles. This is after after hard coughing for a few weeks. Continued coughing hurts along the groin crease . There is no bulge that I can detect along the groin crease but there is a lot of pain on coughing unless I pull up the leg to the belly to avoid pain. Any ideas sirs?

What Causes Pain In The Groin Area?
Hi, As per the symptomatic severity, it is predictable to be from either - acute ligament spasm around groin - nerve compression at spinal cord level. A thorough clinical examination is utmost needed to evaluate it in total details. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
