What Causes Pain In The Hands And Feet While On Renvela?
I am 76 yrs old and have Stage 3 kidney disease. My last GFR was 48. I am currently on Renvela, eat a low salt, low fat, no dairy diet and drink 10-12 glasses of water a day. I have recently been having cramps in my hands feet and calves. They seem to be happening more frequently.. Sometimes several times a day, mostly at rest.
As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
