What Causes Pain In The Heels After Walking Long Distance?
Both of my heals hurt. I wall 7 to 10 miles a day. They hurt more getting up after sitting for a while after having been walking. First thing in the morning my first few steps are very painful, but after a few step the pain lessons. They feel better while I am walking.

According to history it might be intermittent claudication like presentation
Here peripheral vascular disease should be ruled out
For that colour doppler like investigation useful along with physical examination...
According to cause further specific treatment can be prescribed..
If needed muscle reflexes also checked and diabetes also should be ruled out by RBS...
If still no cause found search for other neuropathy causes
