What Causes Pain In The Hip Joint After Taking Pravastatin?

i have been taking pravastatin. i think it has caused me pains in my hip joint area. I previous was taking atorvastatin and had similar pains in my shoulders and toes; however this is more intense. If i take ibuprofen, the pain goes away. I stopped taking the medication for a week now. If this is caused by the medication, when should i see a decrease/improvement in pain?

you are taking statin group of drug itis to lower the cholesterol.it has minor or no such side effect for pain hip joint it can be for other reason. take x-ray hip joint and consultorthopaedic surgeon.
