Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
after walking between 6 and 12 miles per day on vacation, I noticed pain one hip joint. After a weeks return, and only moderate exercise, spinning class, the pain has returned, but not as painful as it was by the end of the trip, when I couldn t twist my body while putting weight on the leg. Does this mean I have arthritis, or need a hip transplant?
Good day and thank you for posting this question. Sorry about the pain. No, you don't have arthritis neither do you need a hip replacement. What you have is Musculoskeletal pain as a result of the exercise and spinning class. If I were your doctor I will ask you to take Acetaminophen for the pain and you can continue your exercise and spinning class. I hope it helps. Thank you.
