What Causes Pain In The Hips And Groin Area?
Having hip pain, gradual in onset over the last three days, no know injury, aches with stabbing pain on movement in the right medial groin. progressive pain, femoral, popiteal and DP pulses 2+, slight edema in the same area no erythema. Pain causing limp. have used ice, heat and NSAIDS for three days. Can this wait until morning or is an ED visit?

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persists you can consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
