Hello,
In my opinion, you should get a check as there was a suspicion. It will be safer for you. I suggest some tests:
1. Tzanck smear
2. VZV-specific IgM antibody
You can also go to any hospital or clinic to get
VARICELLA ZOSTER LIVE(ATTENUATED) ANTIGEN 19400[PFU] in 0.65mL. It is the
vaccine.
Meanwhile, you can start
Acyclovir 800 mg orally every 4 hours 5 times a day for 7 days.
You can also apply Acyclovir Topical to the
rash. If the leg cramp occurs, you can take
CARISOPRODOL 250mg at bedtime, for 2 weeks.
Eat a healthy diet, drink adequate water, juice, light diet, take rest. Do the test and post here in HCM. Any doctor here can follow you up. DO not worry. Already treatment has been started.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
