What Causes Pain In The Hips On The Left Side After A Colonoscopy?
I had a colonoscopy about 16 months ago and have had pain in my side in my left side close to my hip but a bit higher. At times it s worse than others. What can be causing this? No one can seem to figure it out and I m just about ready to tell the to do another colonoscopy to find out. I have had this since the colonoscopy and the day of it I had so much pain after in the same area that I was vomiting. They sent me home anyway. Have had an ultra sound and a ct scan but they can t explain the pain.
The pain is not related to colonoscopy. Most probably it will be a simple muscular pain. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist you can consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
