What Causes Pain In The Hips?

I am having pain on the both sides of the lower hips and directly to the back area, late in the evening. my sister passed of ovarian cancer and I believe that because I no longer produce hormones that i may be at risk as well. I am also experiencing a lot of headaches. What tests can I suggest my doctor to do?

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having lower hip part leg pain and pain on back part as well

You can investigate with digital local part x ray, serum vitamin D level and serum calcium level for initial work up

If specific cause found than treated accordingly

If calcium or vitamin D low then cholecalciferol sachet or calcium tablet can be prescribed

If after examination it feels that pain is from nerve compression then your doctor will suggest you to investigate with MRI

Hope your concern solved

Take care

You can ask further if having query
