Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What kind of jaw pain and lower back pain? Can you have more than one side effect? How soon do the side effects occur. I've only had two shots and had tooth extractions six months after a shot. It's been three months since the dental work and my lower jaw feels funny. Can the pain come and go? Thanks.
It looks like you are taking any bisphosphonates or similar kind of shots as you have not specified the name of the drug that you are taking..
Pain in jaw or funny feeling of the jaw even after 3 months of extraction is not normal at all and you should go for examination..
You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation should be done followed by an x ray should be done..
As bisphosphonates and other similar medication can cause Osteonecrosis of the jaw therefore you should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated so that a confirmation should be done to check if the jaw bone or any teeth are showing any signs of infection..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
