What Causes Pain In The Jaw While On Abilify?
I am 24 years old and I had been taken Abilify 20mg for about 2 years. Start from last year I have a jaw pain and stiff tongue, which make me hard on chewing and swallowing food. Doctor thinks it may be caused by the medicine so two months ago I switched to Invega sustenna. At first my swallow problem is getting better, later doctor increased the dosage my swallow problem comesback now. I just wonder if the medicine cause this problem. what should I do with it? thanks. Stiff tongue and jaw pain can be side effects of both drugs. Ask your doctor to decrease the dose if possible or add another drug like trihexiphenidyl to counter the side effects.
