What Causes Pain In The Jaw While Suffering From Mastoiditis?

I was recently diagnosed with mastoiditis. My jaw is hurting horribly and I have had a chronic headache which 3 different pain medications have failed to treat. Is jaw pain a common symptom of mastoiditis? The antibiotics don t seem to be helping at all.

Steroid therapy also helpful..
Start a steroid under doctor's suggestion.
Consult a physician for further treatment.
