Hello,
You want to know the causes of the pain you are going through. Here are few reasons:-
1. Sometimes, when
Levofloxacin is taken much above the desired dose or taken along with other medications or taken along with alcohol, drug interactions & side effects may occur resulting in drug induce SLE (not definite but possible) or unexplained nerve dysfunction/damage.
2. It may occur due to
vitamin B12 deficiency. If you are diabetic keep the blood sugar levels under control. Avoid alcohol intake. Stay away from addictions if any, for they will worsen your symptoms.
3. You have symptoms of SLE, an
autoimmune disease, when immune system will attack your body tissues/tendone & cause
nerve damage.
Peripheral neuropathy (could be
diabetic neuropathy)
4. Neuropathy (Nerve dysfunction) triggers RA/OA. No worries. Get thorough medical check up done, to evaluate the degree of damage to the nerves & developing SLE (Nerve conduction tests, Imaging & CT, MRI). Get tests done to rule out arthritis (CRP, anti-CCP). Get treated at the earliest as nerve disorders take time to heal. In the meantime take food rich in vitamin A, D & B1, B6, B12 along with
folic acid & minerals.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
