General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pain after knee replacement surgery is commonly due to loosening of the implant, knee cap problem, Alignment problems but sometimes it can occur due to infection.

You need a follow up physical examination & treatment if required. Report to your surgeon without delay, you may require repeat lab tests & radiology studies.

Your treatment will depend upon the severity of the pathology detected. It can be treated either with medications & physiotherapy or surgery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
