What Causes Pain In The Knees After Receiving Injections?
I had 5 injections in both knees. My pain is worse than it has ever been. Regardless if I a! Laying or standing. I feel sick. Could I have an infection from the shots? Both my legs are extremely heavy and so painful. Tried ice and pain meds what should I do?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Infections can occur as a result of injections.
They are normally associated with redness, increased warmth, tenderness and swelling.
It would be best to be seen by your doctor for assessment to rule out infection. This would require blood tests and imaging of the joints.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
