Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was working in my garden today, cutting ferns and high grass. Though I sustained no injury, nor had I any pain immediately following the gardening, I ve recently developed pain in my left Achilles tendon, some three hours after gardening. Could this pain be related to an insect bite?
The pain you developed in your left Achilles tendon, 3 hours after gardening could be related to getting overexercised. If there is any rash or any bite site that you see locally, please send a photo to me to for further evaluation.
Observe if any plant part or blackthorn is inside the skin that makes it painful.
Keep good local hygiene. Apply alternating cold and warm compresses locally for better healing.
Wish fast recovery.
