What Causes Pain In The Left Ankle?
For the past two days I ve had pain in my left ankle that goes from painful to no pain several times per day. the pain in greatest first thing in the morning. There is slight swelling in the ankle but not warm to the touch. Would blood clots have this kind of symptoms. I m on the following meds SIMVASTATIN 20 MG TABS, AMLODIPINE BESYLATE 10 MG TABS, TELMISARTAN-HCTZ 80-25MG TABS.

Blood clots would cause some other symptoms such as swelling of calf and painful in knee so this may be more arthritis or unnoticed injury. I suggest to do rtg and ultrasound of tendons and rest,apply ice and take nonsteroid painkillers.
