What Causes Pain In The Left Ankle?

Hi Iam 45 year old male. My uric acid reading is 0.40 MMOL/L. My other blood test reading results were normal and fall within normal range. After seing a doctor, I was given a gout tablet. However after 2 weeks, my left ankle(joint) is still painful, i am not sure whether I am facing gout problem or others. For your info, my previous problems - chikungunya (last two years), leptospirosis (last year). I am not a drinker, however doing less exercise (only once a week playing badminton). Please advise,

Regards
