What Causes Pain In The Left Arm After Receiving Pneumonia Shot?
Hi Dr. Rynne, I am 62 and had my first pneumonia shot this morning. I am feeling pain in my left arm where I was administered a pneumonia vaccination shot. My arm is sore and weak. I can t sleep. What can I do to relieve the pain. Would taking a hot bath with epsom salts help? Thank-you John

What Causes Pain In The Left Arm After Receiving Pneumonia Shot?
Hello, You can use Thrombophob Gel and apply thrice daily for 3 days. It decreases inflammation (soreness). Also, do not forget to use ice packs at the injection site as frequently as possible. These two steps will give you much relief and you can add mild pain killer like dolo650 (Paracetamol) twice daily for 3 days. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Anusha Molugu, Anesthesiologist
