What Causes Pain In The Left Arm Pit?

I am 43 years old, and had a hysterectomy in my late 20 s. I ve recently had pain, not constant, in my left arm pit. If comes and goes. Also, I ve noticed in the past year that my left areola is significantly darker. I had a mamogram in Dec. 2010 and it was normal.

Hello

Pain the arm pit may be due to muscle spasm or any boil in the arm pit or it may be due to shoulder joint inflammation etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Chymorol forte twice a day for five days. Get it done ultrasound of breast and axilla and get treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
