What Causes Pain In The Left Arm?

I have had this pain in my left arm for the last week. It started to feel like I pulled a muscle or maybe pinched a nerve in my shoulder blade area. Now the pain runs down my whole left arm and it feels sore like someone was punching my arm over and over again. Its a bit hard for me to give a tight grip and my fingers are a bit numb/tingly.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be a simple musculoskeletal pain.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
