What Causes Pain In The Left Hip Radiating To The Thigh?
i ve recently had pain and weakness in my left hip that radiates to the front of the thigh and also to the knee. last summer i was running and dodging thru an airport causing a diagnosed bone bruise in the left knee (by a mri) and at thanksgiving i fell onto the edge of a brick step which resulted in a 6inch by 3inch bruise-hematoma-midthigh laterally. the little knots of the hematoma are still palatable. the pain in my hip causes me to limp and sometimes i feel like the hip will collapse. do you think the hematoma damaged the nerves? i have arthritis, also diagnosed by xray, in my neck and knees and other hip.

What Causes Pain In The Left Hip Radiating To The Thigh?
Hi, A hematoma is not likely to damage the nerves. A hematoma usually resolves or turns into fibrosis. Limping could be due to arthritis. I suggest you consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment and thus management. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
