Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I currently have a pain in my left hip. I threw out my back last week and went to the doctor who gave me anti imflamitories and muscle relaxants. I also went to a chiropractor. From the one session I had with the chiropractor (who did acupuncture) my lower back muscle pain was gone after a few hours. I m left with now is severe pain in my hip, this time it s s different pain. Its very sharp, shoots down my leg, it also sometimes gets my leg tingly and num but that only last a few seconds. It hurts to walk or to turn suddenly but does not hurt to sit or lay down.
As per your history is concerned you need to do an MRI scan to ruled out spinal cord injury and need a physical examination by your neurologist.so do not make any delay of it. So try to meet on tomorrow.
Hope that helps
