What Causes Pain In The Left Lower Leg?

I am having pain in my lower left leg. My MD said it was an inflamed muscle and put me on MethylPREDNIsonone. I have 3 pills left to take. If I keep my leg propped up the pain goes away. When I stand, sit or walk the pain is unbearable. I am on so many medicines and I am wondering if any of my meds can be causing this pain? I am at a lose as what to do next. I am frustrated and depressed because I cannot do normal every day things without being in pain. I have also been dealing with pain from Spinal Stenosis, degenerative discs in my lower back as well as arthritis since last September. Any advice for me?
