What Causes Pain In The Left Shoulder Blade After Radiation Treatment?

In November I finished 35 radiation treatments, for breast cancer in my left breast. I also had surgery to remove the tumor in July. I am experiencing moderate pain in my left shoulder blade, as well as a shapr stabbing pain between my shoulder blades. I also have off and on stabbing pain in my left collar bone. I also have very little energy. Is this normal? Thank you ! Kim

Yes thse things are normal after radiation therapy. There is a lot of nerve and tissue damage and also a lot of radiation fibrosis after treatment. Do not worry a lot but report it to your treating doctor.
