What Causes Pain In The Left Side Of The Abdomen, Nausea And Fever?

I have pain in my left side of abdomen. Under my rib cage and breast, it also goes to my back. I also have pain on the right side up high in my back, and right side of abdomen. I also have nausea and a low grade fever. It gets worse if I eat to much. I have an appointment for a sonogram on Thursday, not sure it I can make it that long.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Here according to your history, you are having acute abdomen pain...

Causes has to be ruled out like acute colitis, acute cholecystitis etc....

Abdomen tested for tenderness and following investigation done....
-CBC
-USG
-SGPT and SGOT only if needed

You will mostly need rabeprazole plus domperidone combination drug along with suitable antibiotic course

Avoid excess spicy foods, avoid stress and fruits eaten more
Hot water helpful in soothing upset tummy

Take care

With USG report consult physician for examination
