What Causes Pain In The Left Side Of The Back?

Hi! I am a 64 yr old female that has had a pain on my left side, more to my back . I have had it for at least 10 years now, and it seams to be getting more painful. I have trouble sitting and sleeping on that side. I have to stick a small pillow under that side. I have talked to my Dr. About it and she took X rays, and it didn t show anything. She left it at that and has not talked about looking into it further. I am so tired of having this pain and don t know wht to do, so I decited to go on line and see if I could find out what this could be, seeing that my Dr. Doesn t seam to want to help me. I saw this sight on Tietze s syndrome and thought, could this be what s going on with me? If so, what could I say to my Dr. So she can look into it more. I can t stand this pain anymore. Please help me! Thank you ! Toni
