Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the last year I ve had pain in my left testicle. I was cleared by a doc that it isn t cancer or an inguinal hernia. He thinks it s a pulled groin, but my groin feels fine. However, my lower back is tight and gets very achey after sustained sitting. I wonder if this is related to my testicle pain.
We have to rule out possible causes like orchitis. As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you all the best.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
