What Causes Pain In The Left Wrist Upon Bending It?

I have pain in my left wrist when I bend my hand back I tried to cut a small tree limb with shears and as I clamped down it hurt pretty bad what is this I had the pain for a few days if I sleep a certain way to disturb the hand I feel the pain what causes this

The information you given is not enough for reaching a diagnosis. Wrist pain may occur due to many causes like arthritis, de quervan's disease or other rheumatological disease etc.

My advice for you is that give the joint rest,apply hot and cold compression, Take systemic pain killer like ibuprofen or ketorolac, you can use pain killer locally like diclofenac gel.
