Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
After a twisted knee injury from a fall in early January I am continuing to have knee and leg pain. It was only a soft tissue injury but I m concerned that after this length of time I am still having pain and discomfort most commonly when I go to bed at night. Should I be more concerned? I am diabetic
As you have twisted injury, it may be blunt trauma, ligament injury. I'd suggest you to do X-ray or MRI knee. Apply ice packs. Use knee cap. take rest. Do physiotherapy. You can take tab. Aceclofenac for pain. I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Take care.
