General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, sciatica is one possibility due to number spondylisis (causing chronological back pain too). Needs imaging investigation to confirm follower by management by an orthopedic doctor (medicines, physiotherapy, survey in non-responding cases). It could be calcium/vita min D deficiency causing the problem. Blood test also needs to be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
