What Causes Pain In The Legs While On Lexapro, Zantac And Metformin?
I m having so much pain in my legs lately. I m wondering if it s all the medication I have been taking for the last 25 years, which is: Lexapro, zantac, imdur, Lipitor, plavix, tricor, metropolol, glu cosemine, metformin, bayer aspirn and b complex
Hi, thanks for your question. Please rate my answer if you are satisfied. Well, all the three drugs have some potential to cause myalgia (muscle pain). As you have been on all the three for quite a long duration, it's very likely that the potential is summing up quite good to produce your leg pains. On the other hand, the diseases for which you take these medications are also likely to cause your leg pains (diabetes for instance). In any case you should visit your doctor and get the status of your illness checked and after that get your medications adjusted to minimize the side effect i.e. leg pains. One more thing, myalgias could also mean that you are developing some dietary deficiencies like vitamin D n calcium.
