What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen After An IVF Procedure?
Hi Doctor I had my embryo transfer on 30th March and I have my pregnancy test on 11 April. But during this period I traveled to office and I am scared That due to travelling I have killed my embryos. Because I have done my urine test where I got negative results but waiting for blood test. I m full of tears. But I see some mild illness, pain at uterus and abdomen. I had even headache. And when I lay down on bed I feel some type of stretching pain at both the sides. I am so much worried as what happened to my embryos. I can t my tears. Please help me to get the answer

The symptoms you are experiencing are non-specific and are not related to the procedure being performed. It may take some time for a urine pregnancy test to come positive. Hence, blood hormone level measurement is more reliable.
Once pregnancy is detected by blood test, you need to get scanning done to confirm the same. Following this, you need to take another scan between 6 to 8 weeks for the appearance of heartbeat to ascertain the viability. Kindly relax and follow the instructions as given by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as advised.
