What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen After Eating Out?
Hi Doc. I m a 64 yo male in good health but after eating out last night at a local Mexican place my stomach is ok but my lower abdomen has had pain since then. 2 normal bowel movements today but the pain is still there. It hurts most when I breath out. Thanks
Pain after eating can be due to: Choleolithiasis or gall stones or Inflammatory bowel diseases. But I feel there is a strong possibility of gall stones as you complaint of pain after eating at a restaurant which mostly serve fatty foods.
Remember pain after eating fatty meals is a typical sign of gall stones. But in the absence of clinical examination and full case history it cannot be precisely said, but based on your limited inputs I think it is a case of Choleolithiasis or gall stones. I suggest you get yourself examined by a surgeon so that it can be addressed properly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Soheel Hussain Zargar,
