What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen Along With Diarrhea?

Hello I have been suffering with pain up under the liver region for over one year now,the pain comes and goes.I have had an ultra sound done which showed a polyp in the neck of the gall bladder measuring 10mm /7mm/4mm I have also been having bouts of diarrea with very pale stools. My doctor said this would account for the pain.Yhe wall of the bladder is not thickened I am going to try to see a surgeon as the GP said that the organ may have to be removed Just wondering about a second opinion.thank you I am female aged 60 years.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having gall bladder polyp as per your USG report

Site and USG report favouring polyp as a cause for abdominal pain

In Symptomatic polyp it us better to get removed it through laproscopy

Meanwhile avoid excess fried and fatty food

It will be best for you to consult gastrosurgeon for examination and further discussion about this problem

Take care
