What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Dizziness?

I am a healthy 63 year old woman. Tuesday I went to my Chiropractor for an adjustment. 10 minutes later I felt like my rib may have rotated on the right side. I decided to ignore it. A couple hours later I had pain in my lower intestine area. I just let it go thinking it would pass. Now it has been 3 days and it is intensifying. Last night my temp was 100.4. I have been dizzy with neck seizing and pain below my ears and ringing in my ears. No fainting yet. I look like I am 6 months pregnant. I am not panicking and I don t normally go to dr s. I am not opposed to them but I just don t. Always on a tight budget. I do have catastrophic ins. Only. I did not eat of 24 hours and drank much water but the problem is still persisting.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Avoid roug, bumpy travel/journey on road. Lower abdominal pain in women may originate from the uterus, fallopean tube or ovary. Avoid doing heavy work & stay relaxed & at rest for few days. Other reasons can be abdominal bloating due to constipation, eating oily food, PID, bacterial gastroenteritis. Since you are febrile you do need medical help, You can take a some antibiotic & omeprasol for relieve. Take some Ibuprofen for pain relieve. But it is better to get examined by a doctor to rule out any problem with the appendix. Get examined do not delay.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
