What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Frequent Urination?
Checking for my daughter. 35 years of age, in great physical shape (works out daily), has been experiencing pain in her lower abdomen. Has seen three doctors, urine samples etc. All have said there is nothing there yet, she continues to urinate several times a day and night. She is a runner and has run several marathons...wondering...could there have been some internal damage as a result? I await your answer
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Before giving comment on your daughter condition I need to know which reports has been done. Pain in lower abdomen and frequent urination can be from pelvic inflammatory disease like condition. For that USG pelvic scan and CBC should be done. Per speculum examination also should be done. According to reports further investigation done if needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
