What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Testicles?
I received oral sex back on Monday, and a few days later I felt pain from the bottom of my abdomen to my testicles. I have no blisters nor fever, and the pain is mild but noticeable. I have no pain while urinating nor erectile dysfunction. No bleeding anywhere. No itching. Should I be worried about genital herpes?
Hello, thank you for using HCM. I read your query and understand your concern. It seems you are suffering a orchitis and epydidimitis . Orchitis is an inflammation of the testicles. It can be caused by either bacteria or a virus. Urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, and a related condition called epididymitis can result in orchitis, too. Epididymitis is an inflammation of the epididymis. This is the tube that stores sperm and connects the testicles to the vas deferens. Treatment is aimed at eradication of Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis and consists of the following: Ceftriaxone 250-500 mg intramuscular once plus Azithromycin 1 g orally once or Substitute doxycycline 100 mg orally twice daily for 7-14 days for the azithromycin. best regards
