What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen During 29th Week Of Pregnancy?

Hi doctor I have pain in my lower abdomen since last 2-3 months. I am currently 29 weeks pregnant my doctor has prescribed primolut depot injection every 15 days and I also take duphaston whenever I have pain in my lower abdomen in between. Right now I am in India and my doctor has suggested me to take duvadalin 10 mg instead of duphaston. Is it fine and do I need to continue primolut depot injection even though I don t have the pain.Doctor in India is saying no need of injection, though my doctor in uae suggested it.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a false labor pain. However, it is better to consult a gynecologist and plan for an ultrasound to assess the status of the baby.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
