What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen On The Right Side?

I have a pain in my lower right side that at times just about puts me right down, trying to move or turn my body or whatever can set it off, pain comes and goes, it seems to be pretty good for a while and then it gets to the point that it s almost unbearable, could it be something with the appendix, or muscle strains ? General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The pain you are feeling on your lower right side could be due to
- inflammation/infection of appendix
- possible infection of urinary pathways
- depending on your gender, if you are a female patient, could be due to ovulation process.

I advise to get an abdominal ultrasound done. Take Paracetamol and see if the pain will subside. Drink plenty of water.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
